It’s ok to need help.
What you need is valid, and that includes needing help.
We’re all human and have basic survival needs, but only you know what you need in order to thrive. Whatever those needs are, they’re valid. So many of us were indoctrinated with the ideas that we should give, not be selfish, that needing help is a sign of weakness, that “neediness” is gross and that way lies rejection.
This week, try to look at everything you need through a lens of self-compassion. Are you really being a self-centered ninny by needing something? Are you really failing at life because you can’t do something all by yourself? (spoiler alert: you’re not.)
I’d say more, but I need to lay down and rest my back.
