Tell yourself: I am safe. Whether you're scared, anxious, worried, or being hard on yourself or your dreams (does "I'll never be able to... sound familiar?) use the affirmation "I am safe."
It is safe to be scared and still take action. It is safe to be anxious and take time to take care of yourself. It is ok to be worried and it is safe to allow life to play out when you know your worrying won't help (does it ever help?). It is safe to have dreams and wishes and desires. It is safe to want to change. It is safe to want more. It is safe to love yourself enough to create a life you love.
