Let your inner voice speak

I’ve talked with many women who say they don’t even know what they want, that they don’t have any dreams for themselves. Are you one of them?

Or, did you have a dream and it turns out it’s just not right or just not going to happen so now you’re pivoting? That’s where I am right now.

It can be a discombobulating time, not knowing what your dreams are. I certainly prefer to have a vision in mind and a plan that helps me work toward it. But even when you don’t consciously know, I believe that you have everything you need within you, even your dreams! Sometimes we just have to work a bit harder to uncover that knowledge.

I’ve created a worksheet called “Jumpstart Your Imagination.” I’ve used these exercises myself and with clients and they’re so helpful to get ideas flowing again. Try to let your imagination go wild and answer these questions without judgment or self-censoring.

As you’re going through the exercises, pay close attention to the physical sensations that come up. Are you getting excited butterflies about one thing? Or does another make your chest really tight? Feel into these sensations and think about what they’re telling you - our bodies give us so much information about what’s right and wrong for us.
Give some of these exercises a shot and then let me know what happens. I love hearing about your dreams!
